Breakers

This picture was generated by breakers. I was inspired by Emil Nolde’s north sea motives. The colour dynamic isn’t realistical and was definitely not consciously painted with. It was fast picture, but later through long looking and observation I had to use a kind of painting logic to balance out the weaknesses and to dramatise the breakers. I was a victim in this picture. It took many transformations.

It reminded me of a late night swim with turtles in Sri Lanka.
